Currently it’s only available on Akai Pro MPC2 software, but will be releasing soon on standalone Akai MPC hardware.
game changer for mpc users like myself, waiting for em to release it in standalone, heard the rip quality is pretty solid

I have a whole list of samples that i didnt chop up cuz i was gonna wait until i got a stem separation plugin, then Akai answered my prayers, if I had MPC2 I would use the workaround but i guess I’ll just wait for now
You have any tracks online?
just two, straight out the mpc, made these on the one actually

Or is it all just with the Live 2
I bought a cheap dynamic mic and been playing around recording a whole song on the mpc, its pretty fun especially with the vocal tuner plugin and what not
I know that pain, a***og wiring is a pain in the ass, and it changes consistently depending on what you want to do and how big of a mixer you got, or patch bays
I got some hardware still in the box, top shelf of my closet cuz its such a pain to set up, and two small usb midi keyboards that i never get a chance to connect -_-
Dope, i like that
Do you use splice?
i used to use splice when i first started, i’ve been using samplette to find my samples nowadays

everything strictly live 2 and i sometimes use my m audio 49 key midi controller along with it which is rare lol, my preferred DAW is logic though
like it’s way easier for me to make a beat on my mpc than it is in a daw as weird as it sounds, i just prefer the hardware workflow and got so used to it, i can make you something in 5-10 mins on my live 2, same beat i just made will take me 30 mins-1 hour in a daw
Plus I havent grasped what the hell a keygroup is yet
basically can play any sample you have as an instrument, for example an 808, you’ll be able to play it in any key if you use it as a key group

I completely agree with you, I asked about splice because it's an added feature on the mpc and I love it, no need to connect to my pc for sounds or use a USB stick :)

Interesting, I was wondering the other day how 16 levels pitched each pad and if it would be in tune or not, like how many keys up is pad 2 from pad 1?

yup still got my account integrated into my live 2 even though i haven’t been subscribed in a while, no need, if i wanted a loop or a drum from splice i could just record it in the sampler
