Cool! I was at a watch party too, and the show was the only time literally no one was looking away from the tv!
Not only that, but everyone laughed at Drake for his colossal, legacy defining defeat!
It’s so interesting how different people have different experiences based on their company!
Absolutely, mine were uncultured whites anyway
that’s when the ranting, “fuck the industry” and nazi acknowledgment started
he, in fact, did not turn it down
I’m swear I saw an article that he did, in Yeezus era, when his rants were just “eccentric” and he wasn’t being the scum of the earth yet.
Idk though. It doesn’t matter anymore. He’s revealed himself as an actual bottom tier human, and damn sure couldn’t do it anymore
Super Bowl he has to do all of the lights and can’t tell me nothing IMO
“I had a dream I could buy my way to heaven” on the Super Bowl stage
You dont think Drake will be up on that stage at some point?
I’m thinking maybe as a legacy act
My company was scrolling tik tok the entire performance, the videos are true

Bro said the rich white people at the Super Bowl woulda sang f***in fireman, go dj, bling bling word for word over a rapper that had the biggest song of 2024 and that song becoming the most decorated rap song at the Grammys lmao
I know
Those old white folks wouldn’t even know Lollipop
i think people would’ve appreciated the set more if it was a mix of all his hits. he went for the nail in the coffin and symbolism, which is perfectly fine but its not gon reach everyone. pacing of the performance needed to be better for the casual viewer
Absolutely, mine were uncultured whites anyway
Okay(?) I wouldn’t s*** on them, myself, since they are still presumably your friends and s***, but I guess that can play a part in whether or not someone is interested
watch the throne ye doin all the classics and wouldve had me crying to runaway and jumpin off s*** with niggas in paris
YEEZUS ye wouldve been on some anti-establishment tip ironically and prolly wouldnt have played a lot of favorites
You dont think Drake will be up on that stage at some point?
the bag he would ask for the NFL probably wouldnt give it to him and drake is petty so this is probably some f*** u for life s*** for him right here with the NFL
I did like it slightly better a second time but still man. Just thinking of the opportunity at hand to be able to leave your mark and showcase your artistry with the whole world watching and it felt extremely safe, and robotic. Hated the tease of not like us. My favorite part was the man at the garden part and the opening track. He should’ve taken risks with it, been more creative. The Samuel Jackson commentary didn’t do it for me either. Idk, it’s your chance to touch the hearts and souls of everyone across the country and this just felt so mainly devoid of anything truly moving. It was visually so uninteresting, too.
It's the Super Bowl, he gets 13 minutes to try and impress people who weren't gonna like it from the jump. And this always happens with SB performances. The only SB performance I can remember in recent history that was more praise than criticism was the Dr. Dre one from 2022.
I thought everything about it was great aside from the mic volume which really wasn't his fault. They damn near always have that issue.
I think it'll be awhile before we get another rapper headlining on that stage. Only other one I could think of them doing is Eminem
Sadly. I feel like we’re getting a country halftime next year

They literally offered it to him multiple times
They literally offered it to him multiple times
I have a theory as to why he declined
