Beer run halftime show
Actually it does in the context it was a Superbowl performance ppl want the hits that's why the reviews are bad a lot of ppl don't noe the songs
Well that’s too bad? Where are the reviews about his actual stage presence being bad? Choro not being up to par? Visuals lacking? Rapping not good? Let’s talk about the actual performance.
None of these men can let it go so they're associated with each other from now on whether they like it or not
Something that’s always bothered me about the SB halftime show is how the vocals never come through clearly. Whether it’s because of the stadium’s acoustics or intentional sound isolation the result is the same it always sounds like the mic isn’t working properly.
This has been the case for years from Dre to Rihanna to Usher. Shakira’s performance was slightly better but overall it’s always the same problem. I’ve never understood why they don’t optimize the sound like in an indoor arena.
bro said the name "baka" in a superbowl performance
The whites chalked it up to Chewbacca
Ok, now realistically, why did Ye not do the SB before 2016? Still to controversial? Ok then before Yeezus, still too controversial? Ok, then before Taylor Swift.. Still too controversial?
Ok, then F***, was Kanye SB fate already decided after the George Bush incident?
Life is not fair man.
Because hip hop was not that big as pop or rock during that time
Kanye was competing with The Rolling Stones, Prince, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Beyonce, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry. Though artists to beat even if you’re Kanye West.
Only ones that makes sense for Kanye was in 2011. Black Eyes Peas don’t deserve it over Kanye. Especially not after that horrendous performance
.. bro did i necro this thread from 2016 or something lol
Aint hear that word in years lol

The opportunity for Kanye to do it never aligned solely cause White America hated the man’s guts since 2005. He would have never been chosen for this regardless
tbh not like us, all the stars, humble, dna, luther are the hits squabble up and tv off there too

Think its just the acoustics
-did not listen to hip hop before 2012
Wrong
Anything else you'd like to assume about me?
Damn shame Ye never did it back in his prime
2015/2016 was really the prime years he should have done it but those bridges were burnt years ago lmao

The thing that f***ed people up was the fact that it was a rap heavy setlist. Maybe that's not the right explanation, but you know how Coldplay got those stadium-ready hooks that people expect in them settings?

Peekaboo and man in the garden are weird choices lol

Wish they gave us more songs before things went sour

Poetic justice is ok in retrospect.
Out of big 3 collabs, cole and drake have the best collab songs that #lightskin connection really comes through
