Of course at face value thirst for CLB this much when he has released so much music between Scorpion and now is ridiculous. I know personally for me, and I think this is true for a lot of people whether consciously or subconsciously, the thirst comes from just not being impressed by most of the music.

Some great features and individual songs for sure but overall same old same old. That plus his last four projects not being amazing has people hyped for what's next for Drake pun intended. People looking for that shift and that magnum opus.

I’d take anything from that era tho, his rapping was top notch and beat selection was perfect. That “bullets don’t tickle” snippet is from that era if I remember correctly

The last 4 albums are some of the most listened to music and played albums this decade.

You in the minority.

I know it’s hard to accept but you haven’t liked a project since 2015 it might be you have out grown Drake

And those albums are amazing to his fans and millions of people…once again you in the minority.

All your post come off like you want this white critic bait album that you can show the high score to your friends and hang it on your room wall.

Sounds like disrespect but I couldn't possibly be disrespected by someone not in my face so don't mind being disrespectful bro do you.

His last 4 albums where all released after the beginning of the streaming era so that's not really a fair comparison to his previous work.

I never said a haven't like a project since 2015. He just hasn't released one that was amazing overall and even he knows that. I haven't out grown Drake. He is still my favorite and most listened to artist. I know this is a foreign concept to you but just because I have criticisms of his music sometimes doesn't mean I don't like him anymore.

I don't care if those albums are amazing to the general public that means nothing to me. I care about the quality of his music. The majority of people, especially in his generation, are easily impressed by microwave music. If you only care about him making decent to good music for the rest of his career that's cool man if you think that's the extent of his music ability but I hold him to a higher standard.

I promise you dude. You are only noticing those posts. The majority of my posts in the history of KTT have been praising and/or defending him. I know all my posts come off that way to you who obviously either doesn't care about the quality of his music as long as you can bang your head to it or just don't expect that much from him but I do.

Got nothing to do with "white critics". I think he can make higher quality music way more often then he has been over the past couple of years. I want more s*** in the vein of Days in the East, 0 to 100 / The Catch Up, Tuscan Leather, etc. Simple as that. You easily captivated by s*** like What's Next or Wants & Needs or Greece or Fair Trade. That's cool man. But just because I think he can do better than that doesn't mean I've out grown him or don't like him anymore. I like those songs too. Just think he been making to much of that quality compared to what has been in the past.

This is a wild post. "Some great features and individual songs for sure but overall same old same old." What exactly do you think CLB or whatever project he'll be dropping next will be exactly? His post-Scorpion feature run is mad underrated. There are massive hits and classic records among those songs.

I get being underwhelmed with Scorpion but you will also be disappointed with CLB because Drake isn't magically going to give you songs that are reminiscent of who he was as an artist 7-12 years ago. If you're waiting for that, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. If you think his last 4 projects weren't good then why are you still checking for his music? What makes you think this time will be any different for you?

Like I said… it might be a hard pill to swallow but you have out grown him and you just don’t wanna accept it.
Maybe not fully but 50/50 60/40…

Kanye never gonna make CD again
Drake is Never gonna make NWTS again
Kendrick is never gonna make GKMC again

Your never gonna get that feeling back or again from a Drake track like you did in 2014 it’s over.

I don't care about him making the same music from however long ago. I care about him improving and still making high quality music as from that time. If he truly can't that's fine too. I'm still going to listen. I just hold him to a higher standard than you. That should be a fine thing to do without being accused of outgrowing him. It's okay to criticize your favorite artist's music/music direction and still like them. I don't know why that's such a difficult concept for you to understand but I am done trying to explain it to you.

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make here but it definitely stems from your gross misunderstanding of how I view things:

Kanye made Late Registration, Graduation, 808's & Heartbreak, My Beautiful Dark Final Fantasy, Watch the Throne and Yeezus after The College Dropout.

Kendrick made To Pimp a Butterfly, untitled mastered, and Damn after good kid maad city.

Drake made If You Are Reading This' It's Too Late after Nothing Was the Same.

Those artists have made different projects but with the same high quality. THAT'S what I want. I need another Take Care or Nothing Was the Same. Whatever album he puts out could be a f***ing country album for all I care I just want it to be high quality. And for the last time if he doesn't that's fine too. I ain't going to stop putting him to a higher standard and I ain't going to stop listening my g.
