He has never had a whole merch drop for an album, a commercial ready, and announced dates then decided to “keep working” on the album for another year Literally no team/label would even green light that. It logically doesn’t make sense.

It is OBVIOUS it’s a non-music thing holding the release back and he keeps assuming the issue will be resolved by these dates he keeps announcing/teases.

That doesn’t make sense anymore because COVID literally is unpredictable and waiting for it to “phase out” before doing anything is stupid at this point.

Also he can tour months after an album is out, so if he kept assuming COVID would loosen up in months down the road he’d still be able to release the album soon.

Also he can tour months after an album is out, so if he kept assuming COVID would loosen up in months down the road he’d still be able to release the album soon.

canada is gonna be fully open by mid august, ameirca by september/october and western europe by the end of the year. that's basically all his touring markets.

as long as the variants are still mitigated by the vaccines, they literally do not matter. the danger is the creation of a variant that bypasses the vaccine but theres nothing like that yet.

west europe is doing well with the vaccines and should be done in the next few months.

Nobody in March 2020 thought COVID would still be huge by Summer 2020. Nobody in Summer 2020 thought COVID would still be huge by 2021.

Nobody going into 2021 thought we would still be talking about this every day damn near going into 2022.
Yes, COVID has been unpredictable and trying to base resuming life around when it ends is dumb. Everyone and every business has now learned to adjust daily activities to its current existence.
