No one is tuning in to SiriusXM except fans lol. Even many Drake fans won't tune in. They'll just wait for someone to rip the clip and post online.

You can see the difference between when OVO Sound Radio was on Apple Music and now that it's on SiriusXM. No one cares about it anymore.

Not sure what Sirius offered them that Apple didn’t? Bigger bag? More freedom?

Poor move on their part, at least in my opinion. Having ovosr on apple made surprise drops/album drops impactful just based on how easy it was for so many to tune in. Hopefully this drops before being premiered on OVOSR because that’s a hassle.

I believe a bigger bag and more freedom. They had 1-2 hours every week on Apple Music. On SiriusXM, they have a dedicated channel and can have whatever they want 24/7. That's why they were able to expand and add other shows.

I don't think it was a bad move but they'll have to do a lot more to get fans engaged. Right now, it simply isn't interesting enough and I think Drake no longer releasing exclusives/premiering stuff through OVO Sound Radio plays a part in that.

Oliver or who ever it is that may liaise with the people at Sirius have their work cut out for them to open the app up to the global audience, especially for Drake releases and Night Owl.

Night Owl play great sets but I have to wait like a day or so before I get to hear it. I’d usually have to wait until early hours to tune into OVOSR for drops but that didn’t matter.
