How have I contradicted myself? Last year when everybody was insisting the album was dropping in the summer, I kept saying it won't happen and that was before the CLB trailer or his injury. People even got mad at me and said I was ruining the good energy in those threads. You can go back to older threads and view those posts. I had noticed he just wasn't moving like someone who was ready to drop an album and I turned out to be right.

Maybe I was just lucky then but he's doing the same thing now. He's been talking about the album because he's obviously excited about it but his moves are saying something else entirely. He's not moving like someone gearing up to drop an album soon.

Nothing is dropping tomorrow and next week Friday, he has the Trippie Redd feature dropping. Just off that alone, he may decide not to drop anything else for the next 2-4 weeks after that. He'll very likely keep stalling like that till the year runs out and then start the official rollout at the top of next year like he did with Scorpion.

If you really think about it, as much as we've been demanding he drop the album, he really has no reason to rush out a release lol. This Delta COVID-19 variant is already causing some people who had shows scheduled for later this year to cancel them.

I highly doubt he has shows booked which he just hasn't announced yet so if he drops the album now, he won't be able to tour for it till months later (something I simply don't see him doing, considering how much he likes touring and the fact that he hasn't been able to do that since 2019. He's toured immediately he's dropped for his last 3 albums and I think he'd want to do the same this time around).

I also think he'll want to work some singles on radio first before eventually dropping the album. The last time he rolled out out an album after the summer was Nothing Was the Same in 2013. Every album since then has dropping in time for him to dominate the summer and tour during that period. Summer is basically over for this year.

I don't know, man. I really want the album now but just based on those theories, I see him pushing it back to 2022. Maybe not summer per se, but not this year at least.
