He's 1000% rushing it. He's never dropped an album like this before.
honestly, I think he's going with this approach so he can do singles post-release and let the album have legs. Because that will be needed since he probably wont be touring till next year.
He's basically always done pre-release singles and then neglects most of the singles post-release. Im thinking he's going opposite and going for legs this time.

SlymemanImo what happened was he was planning on doing the traditional rollout. He posted that trailer in October and everything. He tore his ACL got really demotivated and didn’t finish on time. By the time he revisited the album he maybe wanted to refine certain things or change some stuff he wasn’t happy with. He didn’t wanna disappoint everyone by starting a new rollout with a bunch of time left so he just waited until the week of to start again.
