drake always takes his time with releases that has been the case always.

Im prolly guessing an October last week release tbh.

This is the longest time between albums not including dldt if I’m not mistaken. I’m all for him taking his time but he seemed eager to drop during those IG lives but here we are two months later

For me, I literally don’t care if he wants to drop in early-mid September or as late as October

It’d just be so helpful to us if we have a date to look forward to

Need 40 on the outro and Drake to go crazy on some 30 for 30 Freestyle, Summer Sixteen or Do Not Disturb s***.

We just supposed to get the pie, then split it in two?
Supposed to forget your mistakes, but not forget about you?

I don't mind Certified Lover Boy as the title but I much rather prefer Certified Lover Man. I mean he already said that version in a song and whatever happened to the boy is finally changing into a man s*** he was singing about on March 14th? And then he names his next album this? Kind of lame imo unless this got some cool concept and the last song on the album is Certified Lover Man.

Boys II men was the song he was singing. Pretty sure it was just a play on that.

Tbh I don’t like the fact that he’s dropping this early

idk I feel like he doesn’t actually know something because i’ve heard stories of producers not even knowing they’re on the album until a few days prior lol

First of all it's a drawing of Robert Pattinson as Batman. I guess it's in an anime style but still even if it is... so? Second of all you got some actual contribution to the topic you want to share or do you just try to insult people for having an opinion on something different from yours any chance you get because you aren't capable of sharing your own without being told what to think?

    I personally love it.

My interpretation of the album title is Drake telling us that he’s back to his authentic self. I think it’s fair to say he was somewhat out of sorts during the Scorpion era due to his beef with Pusher Tea and all the personal attacks that came with that; he even stated how the situation turned him into someone he didn’t want to be in the Rap Radar interview. Yes, The Boy’s a father now, but he’s not settling down any time soon.

Also, from the moment he came into the rap game, he’s been attacked for being ā€˜soft’ and emotional. Drake’s only human so I’m sure the criticism got to him at times. Now, over a decade into his career, the biggest rap superstar out, he’s saying ā€˜fuck it’ and fully embracing his original Heartbreak Drake persona, which I think is awesome

I can see that but if that's the case I would much rather have Heartbreak Drake as the title then.

I’ve kind of got the impression that despite the very personal nature of Drake’s songwriting, he’d rather not have any of his projects be self-titled. Maybe he thinks it’d be too cliche? Though, if I do remember correctly, he did go by Heartbreak Drake on an old hip-hop forum he used to be active on way back...

Agree (although I don’t think the lover boy thing is only going to have to do with relationships). Been a few hints relating to his relationship with the game / hip hop
