I bet he will drop another hit. It's good for the record. He just had very bad luck. This record would have went number one for sure just cause it's Drake. But Cardi happened.

I mean the album charting #1, not a single. Factually speaking, neither Cardi or BTS have nearly as strong album sales compared to their singles. Taylor and Adele the only ones beating him in album sales and Taylor just dropped so Adele is it.

Yes you are right too, these all are good songs individually (except 2 maybe), but if we look at DLDT as a body of work it isnt that great, still a solid 7 for me. But again DLDT wasnt even released with any motive just Drake decided to release the leaks and loosies on streaming platform. Generous king

I was just trying to say that I don't think Drake is as concerned about scoring #1 hits as some fans seem to think. He really wanted a #1 hit with Hotline Bling and when that didn't happen, he seemed to kinda get over it. He didn't do the most (at least publicly) when One Dance was #1 for 10 weeks and he did the same when he scored 3 #1 hits in 2018.
I don't think he expects everything he drops to go #1. Only certain "fans" and haters do and at this point, he knows that a song doesn't have to go #1 to be a massive hit record, so he's good either way.
I also think he'll drop another single before dropping the album (which is the smart thing to do).
