I personally think we're nowhere near the album getting released. For one, there's no hype around this. Ya'll remember that feeling months before Views dropped? Seemed like the whole world was waiting in anticipation. Scorpion too, if not more post-beef. Hell, even the More Life hype buildup began months before. We don't even have a confirmed album name yet...

We also know Drake likes to tour shortly after the release of his albums (who doesn't). Obviously, no one is going on tour until next year at the earliest, why release an album that may lose steam by the time you start selling tickets?

Maybe I'm wrong and Drake is avoiding building up the hype that he usually does which tends to lead people to expect a 10/10 each time, anything less is "trash" since the bar is set so high.

Best case scenario we get an IYRTITL level mixtape, then the album comes in a year or so.

It should be about time for the album title to be announced, no? If we're thinking it's a summer album (he's said the album is close to being done on 2 different IG lives) we should be getting the title and a single in May. Then a release date soon after with another single. Unless he's doing the surprise drop strategy, which seems unlikely. Or maybe it gets pushed to the fall...
