KlausWhat I mean is basic songs like those. Those type of songs aren't impressive at all. People miss being impressed by a Drake song. The world knows he can make hits. It's getting boring now he keeps milking the hitmaking thing. People want songs with substance and soul like Vital or Drake make on his Take Care / Nothing Was the Same s*** like on Chicago Freestyle.

Why are you defending that specific song so much I'm just using it as an example of the type of song people want to hear less from Drake. I like Toosie Slide but it is basic. Drake rapping about Kanye and his opps again, trying to get a dance challenge on, beat is really simple, it's just another hit record that everyone in their grandma knows Drake can make. Point is that people want more relatable, mature music with more elaborate beats in styles Drake has never done before or haven't done much of.
He hasn't made a song as good as Vital in years. It's soulful, the beat is amazing, the topic is relatable... It's the type of song people want a whole album of from Drake I don't get for the life of me how some people on here don't care for it to be on the album simple because we heard it already like it can't be updated or sound better in the context of whatever songs it's sandwiched between on the project.

All these songs that are some of his best and they don't make albums but songs like Unforgettable, We'll Be Fine, Make Me Proud, 305 to My City, With You, Pop Style, Faithful, No Long Talk, Peak, Ratchet Happy Birthday makes the albums instead???
Dude clearly has a problem with knowing what songs to put on his albums and because of that he misses out on his albums being perceived way better off of just simple tracklisting issues. It's not d***riding. People are just tired of this dude not putting his best songs on his albums. I don't care about the album not sounding as "fresh" as it could. If that's the sacrifice for him finally getting an album that is a bonafide classic than so be it.
This is true, drake can’t pick songs for the final tracklist or his team does.
If you put drake his best songs on a 10-13 track album.
He would have top 3 album in the whole game ever. Period.

We been saying this since august lol if album don’t come this month wouldn’t kill my hype just wouldn’t enjoy it as much something is definitely going on tho this rollout doesn’t feel like a rollout it’s sporadic and kind of annoying and dragged out by the time we get something it won’t be like I’m hype feeling it would be more like finally . 😭
