Weeknds album was dope but that’s stapled in my head as a time where lockdown began (which now by the way feels innocently great lmao). That poor fool got tried so hard and that album is just gone in the wind.
He drops this album now, it could be tied to the death of America (if Biden loses) I really think he should just wait till Biden wins, people will be celebrating and BAM. A monumental album for a monumental moment. Dropping an album when there’s so much at stake for so many minorities and lives right now feels forced and insensitive to the unprecedented times. We waited this long, might as well wait another few weeks maybe he drops us a timestamp record fo hold us over
