When it comes to the cover, At y’all staring at the cover while you’re listening? Lol
I mean I barely notice or care about it when listening
I press play on my iPod and put it in my pocket
Mmm yeah Take Care should’ve been a mid-late career album right before a hiatus
Lowkey, take care was before a slight hiatus
2012 is the only year this decade he didn’t drop anything
Wait what was 2014
If theres anything disappointing about this album it would be the committal to the CLB theme I guess, it just feels like a varied Drake project when it could have had a slightly harder concept.
That being said...its like one of his best albums of all time.
Yeah this thing flows so well.
"This mid broken single day records yet?"
Stage 4: Medea
At this stage, the grip of the spell of envy appears almost irreversible. This Medea dimension is the strongest in individuals who are in dead end relationships or feelings devalued, feel low self-esteem. Their hatred toward the world and others dominates their thinking. They cannot see themselves ever becoming successful and leading content, happy lives.

This seems like a hot take but the Hov verse on Love All fits the subject matter more than the Need Me outro. I like it a bit better

It fits better subject matter wise forsure
Drake talking about people never care til it’s rip then the outro he’s talking about a girl sliding thru to get her back broke lol
I just think sonically the Need Me outro sounded better, it was his quintessential style of singing

Donda and Certified Lover Boy are two overlong blockbuster-rap statements from two of rap’s aging overlords. They’re both full of moody synth tones and fake humility. They’re both crowded with guests, and plenty of those guests show up on both albums: Jay-Z, Lil Baby, Kid Cudi, Lil Durk, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign. Both albums have come out, with plenty of advance pageantry but no advance singles, within one week of each other. It’s impossible not to compare them, and yet it’s not close. A few listens in, and it’s already clear that we’re going to be hearing these Certified Lover Boy songs again and again in the months to come. I cannot say the same for Donda.
