I hate early announcements of albums. Tried it with Scorpion and we saw how that went.

If the album wasn’t ready to be released why announce it ahead of time like that.

Was hoping for the album 2-4 weeks after he first announced it (LNCL).

Yup. I also don’t think a drawn out roll-out (like Weeknd and Tame Impala in early 2020) would work in a pandemic. I think at most he announces the album 2 weeks before release with a second single.

I’m not gonna lie, I kinda agree. I don’t even like singles anymore. But the artist like to give time k work records and such. Plus I’m pretty sure drake was excited to just get a sample of the album out.

Idk how much of what has happened so far with this ‘rollout’ has been calculated and how much it is him just going week by week.

I was supper optimistic about this album coming after LNCL dropped but this niggas deafening silence has finally broken me. Until I see concrete evidence to the contrary, I’m mentally preparing myself for a 2021 drop. Whatever version of CLB that was planned was shelved. LNCL will appear on his 2021 album, now titled “Boy” (shortened from Certified Lover Boy) as a bonus track
