Diplomatic Immunity was great. Almost everything after that sounds like amateurish beats. I don't really like Cardo and OZ to be honest. I hate that those two are like Drake's new go-to producers. I don't know what it is. It's like... their beats all have a lot of good elements to them but they are missing something that true make them great. Like the food itself is prepared well and looks good but when you taste it... it has no seasoning and was marinated in soap water. If he keeps getting beats from those two, I pray he makes 40 and Boi1da finish them.

Boi 1Da helped finished Omertà if I remember correctly. I get what you’re saying though OZ s*** has just gotten so stale to me quickly. Cardo’s only beat I love with Drake is 100. Preemo has hooked him up with a good ass beat in Sandras rose and is giving him another one as well, 1DA worked on 8 out of 10 but on the next album i’m expecting 1DA not to be fully involved but to have probably 4 tracks at max

I really don’t understand what Drizzy’s trying to do with this rollout. If you’re going to do a surprise drop, commit to it and don’t say anything and let it hit streaming as a surprise a la Beyoncé. If you’re going to do a traditional rollout, don’t just go dark after releasing the supposed lead single in August and trailer in October. Give us a cover, track list, an actual date, and maybe another single or two. This rollout makes the Scorpion rollout seem well planned.

He will just announce it 2 weeks before release but would be good if he could do some subtle teasing at least

No artists puts out a track list that early. Maybe a week to a couple day before the album release.

Most don’t even release the cover art until a week or most 2 weeks before release.

And a lot don’t release a second single till the week the album comes out.

I understand you want information but a lot of those things aren’t even done by most artists.

Somebody mentioned it before but I wouldn’t be surprised if he put out 2 albums this year. One now and one when things get better with the pandemic. Question is, is CLB the one coming now if he were to do that?

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t think the pandemic gets “better” enough to travel/tour freely in 2021. If anything, we might get a DLDT esque pack in addition to CLB.

I think that back in 2019 he wanted to make a 15 song album, similar to NWTS

but 2 years later, there's probably (and hopefully) too many great records, from different genres and styles, to choose from

so I'm thinking 18-20 tracks
