I still liked it bc it's Jay E and he has a way with words and one of the strongest mic presences ever (whenever he's featured his voice just takes over the track), but yeah I know what you mean. It wasn't the "modern day spiritual Illmatic" tier album everyone expected.

Pretty sure the album was just sitting in his laptop though. 8 of the tracks leaked so its almost certain the rest were also done.
