music should be made to express your inner self and feelings

the moment you make it religious and political you take away the beauty of music

also, If you really bout that life don't take God's name in vain

    foh

Almost all art in human history was born out of religion and politics

I write music myself and I think it's immoral to put god in the same breath as your personal feelings or whatever

I just think there's an obvious difference between gospel records and rap records which shouldn't be crossed

do you feel the same way with art as rap music? and what's the reason?

like the other guy said most art throughout history was created to show the beauty of God

I agree on that, but, rap is a more braggadocious and kinda selfish art form which is why I said what I said

It's really not, especially cause Jik is not secular music at all. Jesus is King is an album about praising and thanking God, and there's nothing immoral about that

Oh baby, Let’s try to get a better avi than this edgy ass one and then we’ll talk about it..

Plenty of people write. Doesn't put you in a higher position or something. It's still just your opinion

Listened to JIK in its entirety the other day and it was pure garbage. 2011/2012 Kanye would’ve never released cringeworthy trash like JIK

Don't get me wrong, I never said it does. But the fact that I write gives me a different perspective on lyrics
