Passionfruit will always remind me of this house party I went to in 2017, they had a bonfire in the garden and I don't think I ever got the smell of smoke out of my jacket

Remember I was at a house party one time and this came on and literally every girl started throwing it back and I was like I NEED to know what this song is. Put me on to K Camp proper

  • Lost my virginity with professional by The Weeknd playin

    That girl loved The Weeknd

Can barely listen to him now without her popping in my mind.

In high school, junior year, I was super into southern rap like Jeezy, Boosie etc.

My friend eventually shows me One Mic as we’re all standing around in the dark before school starts. It blew my mind. I really only started listening to music in middle school. So I had never really taken the dive down music rabbit hole yet.

Anyways, it completely changed my music taste.

Fast forward to one year after high school. It’s 2012 and Nas will be dropping his first solo album with me as a fan.

Nasty came out. My nuts exploded. Nasty is literally one of Nas’ nastiest songs. I vividly remember blaring it down Keene Road yelling “Are You Ready?”

Then the second single The Don came out. Me and my friend had happened to be on the beach the second it came out. We press play….

Nas was rapping on this insane beat that was honestly really cool even in hindsight. After the song ended we ran around the beach in circles.

Then when the album came out you know we had to listen together. We bumped the CD in my whip the day it came out.
