am i only one that feels that if an album is to perfect and flawless that it doesn't get nearly as much plays as some low key rough around the edges s***

like Blonde by Frank Ocean amazing album ive probs listened to it like 20 times all up since release i dont have it on rotation or anything i appreciate it every few months or years

same for s*** like MBDTF amazing masterpiece of an album but you wont catch it on rotation for me id listen to it maybe once every few months

whilst some weezy leaks or XXXTENTACTION, playboi carti shi for me would be on repeat even if its 'rough around the edges' so to speak i feel day to day i can vibe with songs that got a bit of grit and roughness and authenticity to more then some super polished well made flawless song

s*** i know im probably the only dude on here that feels this way and im about ready to get roasted by everyone but hope i got a 1 in a million dude who gets what im saying

Nah I feel you, that’s part of the reason I don’t like MBDTF that much. I can accept that it’s good but I’d rather listen to Yeezus over it 10x out of 10 bc it feels less played out
