I think what clicked for me was New Slaves. But I wasn’t f***ing with the rest of it.

I feel like once you learn how amazing On Sight is, the rest of the album clicks.

Liquid Swords is the most recent example for me. Never got why the album got so much praise but that s*** is f***ing amazing.

Plastic Beach also for a long time, i always thought it was downgrade on Demon dayz but my tastes have changed that plastic beach sounds more interesting

I was recommended the album on Niketalk.com as a kid who posted on there. When I first heard it, I thought it was boring af and that Big Noyd was the best rapper on the album lol.

I found similar albums like Illmatic, OB4CL, Ready To Die, etc. way more entertaining to listen to.

Then, I kept listening to the album and it clicked especially when I realized how great they capture the grimy NYC atmosphere in such a calm way.

ngl i kinda avoided 1000 gecs because of the fantano praise meme but its actually good they really don’t miss

Tech N9ne - Anghellic

It took awhile for me to really love this album like I do now. I guess I wasn't ready for Tech's unique style of music at the time. This album is a classic and one of the best and most creative rap albums ever.

Believe it or not, it took me awhile for me to fully appreciate the masterpiece that this album is as well.
