disrespectful to refer to someone who’s had 3 #1 albums and sold out Barclays by himself post bid, as a ‘C-tier’ artist
Isn't it unanimous that weeknd let himself take an L or what?
This was good af it took me two listens to get it I think ppl didn’t give it a shot
Gay
In Check, Rain Interlude, Nevermind this Interlude, and my personal favorite Teach me a lesson, I see some flaws and his jaded and maybe disillusioned writing but it's a good project
lol. You must’ve not been in the album thread the night this dropped . This album got so much s***
BFT might be better, and maybeee Vol 2. Maybe
But other than that Self Titled is easily one of his best
I was literally in that thread calling it mid and getting ganged up on by dorks creaming themselves over it lol

Man said "sold out Barclays" lmao that mid cheap ass arena
MSG is the one people care about when it comes to NY venues bruh but I get your point

when drake went on tour, it was he did 7 nights in NY, not he did 4 shows at MSG and 3 at Barclays lol selling out an arena is no easy feat especially considering his circumstances

I'm saying that MSG is literally a premium venue. The reason why artists been going to Barclays is just because it is cheaper. And it is cheaper for a reason. Seating is ass, audio quality is ass, it's a smaller venue, and it's lighting direction is atrocious.
There's a reason why it's a much bigger deal to sell out MSG and book residencies there.
Rod Wave sold out Barclays too, and nobody knows or cares lol he couldn't get booked for MSG because he wasn't going to be able to sell it out
Dude has one solo hit. Everything else is with Lil Baby or features but sure I suppose he's B list
u right but still, 3 #1 albums. he platinum in the streets fosho
I remember KTT acting like this was the best album of the year for two weeks...and then it was rightfully forgotten.
Also low tier. Man dropped Hell Can Wait, Big Fish Theory, Primadonna, Summertime 06, and Shyne Coldchain vol 2. This s*** doesn't even come close to those projects.
yeah that album is mid pack
had no clue why they gassed it so heavy just for it to never be mentioned again
they did Vince worse than they do Future on here with his release cycles
Future can just drop anything I’ll listen. I also never understood the I Never Liked You hate (KTT only).
nice acoustic vibes throughout the album. carried me end of 2021 into 2022. thug gave us this gem

I'm just glad Vince decided to drop an album that was actually worth a damn 5-6 months later

Album is so underrated
no one has yet to give me a reason why they don’t like this album other than rhe blanket “it’s boring” statement lol

Facts he's just not on The Weeknd's level and when he outsold him it was telling of how well Abels music was (in this case wasn't) connecting. You can say After Hours was too big to release again so soon, but if Dawn FM was as huge sounding as that album it would have big just as big

i think Dawn FM is getting the proper respect it should’ve been getting, as time goes on that s*** gets better imo
