What albums did you initially think were mid but came back around a few times and made a fan out of you?
Right now this Heaven or Hell by Don Tolliver makin a fool outta me from when it first dropped..
The production is smooth, catchy and refined to the point of mainstream acceptability without compromising his authentic soul sound. His melodies have gotten far more ear grabbing and fun.
This album might actually be somewhat of a sleeper classic in the making.
This chopped and screwed version that dropped today is nasty too..

When I first heard Thursday years & years ago I thought it was pretty dull. Recent listen, it's good
