I listen to albums that people actually play. And you actually hear it. You know, driving your car you hear another car playing it. Go to the barber shop, you hear them playing it. You know, turn the radio on, and you hear them playing it. It's playing everywhere - it's called great music. It's called albums that you actually hear the songs. Not no mysterious s*** and you never hear it.

    Okay Yeah

So f***ing sick of the love and s***theme like present in ALL music. I don’t f***ing care. Here are examples of albums which don’t do this and that I like:

    • acid rap (there’s some references but overall theme isn’t)

I can’t really think of any other from the top of my head…

Run the Jewels. Illmatic. Enter the 36 chambers. I think there is plenty. But I don’t know what you mean.

  • Okay Yeah

If you listen to the full thing from front to back it’s centered on him and his internal struggles and how he’s going through life at that moment. It’s beautiful.

I aint realize op just deleted Lost off her Acid Rap playlist lmfao.

    ryuH

Bro any random traditional rap album album would fit your criteria (Jay, Nas, Wayne, Big, Kendrick, Eminem etc)

most rap doesn’t give af about love or s***as an overall theme. They may have like 1 love song to deversify but other than that s*** be about guns & butta baby…. Guns & butta

Wayne??? 😂😂 Dog every single song it’s a insane p**** bar lmao

getting no b****es is the theme of op’s life

  • Fries

    Thread blew my mind

What does it say that music is mainly about love and sex?

That they provoke intense emotions, but it's still wild that there are almost no albums without it

assuming op is talking about love and s***from a one-dimensional standpoint (like relationships, having hoes, f***ing etc) and not love in a more general sense, of course there's plenty of music without those themes present in it. i think most people would just bypass the thread because of that obviousness and not bother to list examples lol.

How closed off to the world do you have to be where the only album you can possibly think of without love themes is Acid Rap?

Theres that obscure album called Kind of Blue by underground artist Miles Davis, check it out OP.

In all seriousness, you can listen literally anything instrumental as long as there's no love related meaning in title and be good. Enjoy!
