What artist do you think is making whats in OP for $25? Lmaoo there is a severe disconnect between the idea of “aw how can he use AI instead of paying artists” and the actual particulars of commissioning artists to do covers. Word to dude who made KOD cover trying to put peedi crack allegations on Cole for something the artist drew lmao because of discrepancies with merch money (he probably wanted to redo whatever agreement they had because he went broke lmaoo)
It also assumes he wouldn’t just take an old image from Google and put text over it and use that as a cover if you take away AI lol. Artists / people who support AI over artists gotta target the people who fw them instead of whatever this entitled assumptive (is that a word? lmao) energy is lol

It feels weird to me to count and spend other people’s money because we’ve seen them on screens for 20 years. We don’t know bro bank account tbh and even if its like that, its weird to me to be like “i dont like you anymore because you didnt spend money on what i wanted you to.”
But even then its way more to commissioning artists than “affording” a commission amount. All types of revisions and what that may cost, different creative visions/communicating that vision, the idea of merch negotiations…i’d personally try to hire an dope artist who style i already align with for the project or do a photoshoot but i get why some people say f*** it
