The second example is fine. The first example can get dicey because u should be using your own ear/taste for that. I guess it would be fine if you're picking whatever sounds best to u from a range of choices it gives u

This is such a dumb point because they’re not using it as a tool. Using it as a tool would be making that first draft and then going over it yourself. I think if more people actually used it as a “tool” less people would have such an issue with it.

Tools allow you to do a job more efficiently and rarely do they do the whole job for you.

Too many people let their laziness take the wheel with AI and excuse it as “the future” that we need to “get used to or be left behind”.

Highly acclaimed artist/graphic designer David Rudnick used AI for Black Midi’s Calvalclade album cover and nobody cared because he actually used it as a tool. He generated elements using AI then cut them out and collages them to make the final product.

Chopping up the sample and even using the lyrics of the sample to fit the theme of the song is a skill. Typing a prompt into an AI generator is not a skill. AI can not come up with an original thought. It can not be innovative. It can not push art forward

He chose to hop on Twitter and snarkily defend it all, further opening himself up for more criticism because he had terrible responses. He should’ve done what Erykah is and just ignored it because I doubt it was his call alone
