Idk I don't watch the news either or normally pay attention to political things. It's not hard to not know about news especially if your circle isn't very political and it's not local to you

Like I saw people talk about this for a while but I didn't really know anything about it. I just knew of it. That's not like saying it's the most moral way to operate but it's real in a lot of cases.

I don't think that guy was showing like a desire or willingness to learn either though he was just bragging about the fact that he doesn't care about a genocide which is pretty crappy

he works with and has brought up pro palestinian voices some of the only ones in rap and has stayed silent on it. if he thinks something along the lines of "israel is f***ing up killing kids and there should be two states" thats fine what would be bad if he was going around talking israeli propganda talking points against palestinians.

anyway idc about the personal views of a producer on israel palestine esp when he doesnt voice them and he promotes some of the strongest pro palestine voices in music. actually yea if he believes that he should stay silent, hed be doing the right thing imo

People calling people out is mostly for internet points and not because they actually care about the Palestinian genocide going on

It’s the feeling of being above celebrities in some sort of way when you don’t have money, success or status, so the easy route is to climb on the high horse and yell about their inhumanity, even if they completely silent about it, to feel superior to them

That’s why they usually go against celebrities in the entertainment industry instead of politicians that actually can and do the difference because no one gives a s*** about politicians if they not attention seeking and on our timeline every week

It’s just a human trait to look down on people and searching for validation so they seek it through the internet with their fake activism

no matter what he says even if he includes something like "i still think israel should exist tho" itll be picked apart and israelis will use it to call him their champion or palestinian activists will use it to say this guy is a piece of s***

hes stayed silent and imo if he doesnt have an educated good thing to say good, stay silent hes still providing the platform and promoting artists who are doing a lot for the cause.
