I could see why some would find this tiring or want a tighter plot, and ngl I was bored a few times, but the highs were amazing and there were so many hypnotic scenes that will stick with me

not the most interesting story, but the filmmaking made it captivating and the surrealism worked well to keep things surprising

definitely in my top 10 of the year

same here, one of the few films this year I feel like rewatching

also been playing the soundtrack/score a lot. great songs but the score might be my favorite of the year. Bryce Dessner killed it, not surprising considering his work on C'mon C'mon, but this collaboration with Iñárritu is on another level

loved this movie tho. lots of big ideas and great sequences. I did get tired of the wide angle lens towards the end. that dance sequence>>>>
