I am eager to understand why a far-right actor and white supremacist who has made a career of spreading incredibly damaging (and patently false) conspiracies and fascist ideologue, requires your empathy.

Almost all of his assets will be liquidated-- sold and/or auctioned. He will have to pay a significant percentage of his income for the rest of his life towards the punitive damages.

When people get fined like this and they obviously can’t pay even a tenth of this, what happens?

I was talking to a specific poster (befly) who I’ve been friendly with for years. It wasn’t a response to the entire thread. I have nothing to say to all of you. If anything it was something me and them would have discussed privately where I could have articulated it better. So I said I don’t want to discuss it in here.
