it's "twice (2X) the amount of economic damages plus an equal amount of non-economic damages up to $750,000."

since the 4.1 million in emotional damages is "non-economic"

basically despite the big jury verdict award that is in headlines across the world, the media are either ignorant or uninterested in the fact that alex jones will actually be on the hook for about $5 million, not $50 million (4.1 million + 750k)
