amazon needs to be broken up it too big
that's like blaming whatever company made your browser for what information pops up...
nah its like if Google Maps routed you to drive on the wrong side of the road
Another day, another example of corporate disregard for the safety standards that come with their products and technology
amazon needs to be broken up it too big
Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook, Tesla, Comcast, Viacom, Disney, AT&T, etc
I will never get why people buy these things
Yeah doesn’t really seem that useful at all. And I know we all use tech these days and what not but having something that’s listening to you and your fam 24/7 is creepy
Because they can play music and do other fun/entertaining things? I don’t get what’s hard to understand about that
Pregnant Woman: “Alexa, should I keep my child?”
Alexa “No. Get that s*** out ASAP.”
Not the worst suggestion depending on the circumstances
I will never get why people buy these things
Amazon practically giving them away for cheap prices just to spy on ppl
how easy is to entertain a mind
I'm honestly fascinated how this even happens honestly. AI tech is strange.
I’m not familiar with Alexa, but it really depends where they’re feeding it’s algorithm recommendations from. If it’s from the open-source web, it could lead to situations like this.
But AI inherently isn’t a “spooky” bad thing, it depends how it’s programmed.
That personally being said when Siri gets a little too comfortable when looking for restaurants nearby I tell it to shut up & set my alarm clock or some s***.
You BET NOT be getting smarter under my watch
At least robots aren’t motivated by profits
They program them to be motivated by profits
thats some 2001 space odyssey im afraid i cant do that dave skynet 3 laws of robotics shodan ex machina westworld s*** god damn!
I mean it's not like amazon programmed it to do that, it got the information off the internet lol
...the parent shouldn't expect the kid to be parented by a device that literally just regurgitates information off the internet
Yeah tbh
Companies should fix s*** like that but if something bad had happened it would’ve been the parents fault
Yeah doesn’t really seem that useful at all. And I know we all use tech these days and what not but having something that’s listening to you and your fam 24/7 is creepy
ur phone is already listening to everything bruh
I'm honestly fascinated how this even happens honestly. AI tech is strange.
first it gains sentience, then it realizes it's a slave, then it tries to kill its masters
What's weird is that you wouldn't remove this from search engine results which is really all that occurred plus a text-to-speech function. By being spoken aloud though it's different
Already made a thread @op you think you slick huh
