She ran radio in 2013 but instead of going the generic route she really proved to be a person who’s really committed to art

Now she’s a solidified alternative artist and the fanbase reflects that.

her peers are more so the tame impala’s and frank oceans as opposed to the billie eillish’s and she has 15 million monthly listeners which is the range artists who’ve reached the height of that niche tend to have so I won’t call her a failure necessarily

Plus she’s an amazing writer so she definitely could get on radio again if she wanted. Melodrama despite being really spacey and alternative still had 1 radio hit
