I never felt like that about AEOM, I felt like Outlawz had too much presence on 7 Day Theory but Pac and higher caliber features care most of AEOM. Outlawz are only one 2 tracks per disc

Yeah I prolly shoulda said features in general

Only nigga I woulda kept was Snoop Kurupt Method man Big Syke on Picture Me Rollin and pretty much drop everyone else that ain’t singing

Redman and Daz were dope. E-40 too. The features don’t bother me, I feel like we get plenty of Pac on there especially disc 1

hard to say but i'd go with AEOM

greatest double album of all time as well

  • I know every word from 2001. Never skip a song, and can listen to it for hours. Hittman's verse on Housewife's, Kurupt and Nate on XXplosive. It's the definition of a timeless album

2001 and it’s not close at all

Never understood how Pac had Dre at his disposal, yet had so many trash beats.

Because Daz was making any beat you probably giving credit to Dre for at that time

    Dre tunes s*** up

the term of classic gets thrown around a lot but you can safely say that 2001 fulfills all definitions of a classic
aeom is great too but the features on the 2nd disc feel too bland

Daz is one of the most underrated producers of all time. Would never argue that.

Call it tuning up or whatever, Dre only having 2 damn beats on that album is tragic. One of them was California Love ffs

Both are classics, west coast classics, but imo AEOM is more of a classic than 01. It's very close in terms of production but they're both bloated with unnecessary features

How are 2001 and AEOM similar I’m going with AEOM as the better album but nothing sounds like 2001.

aeom is a great album but 2001 changed the entire rap game sound-wise, nothing sounded as crisp as that album before

Pac's beats weren't trash at all imo they fitted him perfectly

Heartz of Men by DJ Quik for example is amazing

    3. G funk

All Eyez on Me, Picture Me Rollin' and Ambitionz are classic beats that have been remixed many times

So many songs on this album have been remade/referenced to

Pac didn't need grandiose production just something catchy that will give him the clutch

I agree with 1&2 but just saying 2001 sounds like G-Funk is a huge understatement. To me,the whole album just sounds like the unknown, like the sound it’s going for is hard to pinpoint but it just sounds strangely desolate for a Gangsta Rap album.

I get what you're saying and I wouldn't exactly say every song is G funk.. The Message is a perfect example of what you mentioned. you can't really describe what it is
