Also I don't produce I just am mixing, and I really like the routing in logic.
I think FL does have a more user friendly interface for production
except for when i pull up for sessions i make him record me on my macbook with FL 20 on it
Do I only have disclosure with logic
Disclosure routes ableton inside their logic projects too
is FL 20 worth it?
ive been using 12 for so long and ngl im reluctant to upgrade idk if my projects are gonna be compatible or if there's any downsides
ohhhhh ok this makes sense then. yeah logic pro x is perfect for mixing sessions too my engineer records all of his clients on logic pro x fr
nahh pro tools easily the best for recording/engineering

Its all compatible and yes.
Im on 21, went from 10 to 12 to that.
Has a lot of great new tools/vsts, cleaner look n interface, better cpu management, a bit more flexible imo & more self help tools such as an option to figure out what note an instrument is in, then it highlights all the notes in piano roll for you to stay in tune for the rest of the song.
It's my fav since 10.

I will argue this at a later date.

Def worth it, get when ur able too.
Best part is that they didnt take any out either, all previous features, built in vsts/effects and such are all still there, they only added to it, optimized it & refreshed the look.
A few thing are shuffled around tho so it might take a day to a few to get back into the groove of things, but after that its been better than ever & what ive been making all my beats on this year.
You can finally stretch blocks way past 16 too if u really want too lmao.

I never thought they could beat 11 but fl 20 is really just 11 on steroids and f*** 12

S*** is crazy
By far the most friendly to make Rap n RnB beats now
fl studio has a lot of rly cool stuff and most ppl (myself incl) never even scratch the surface of what it can do. in my case i always pirated it so i never saw the value but once i had my own copy it was diff like you want to make the most of it
Does FL still get unwarranted hate nowadays or did it finally stop
Only by those still stuck in 09 to 2012

all music genres tbh ive tracked live instruments in 20 too

Thats dope.
I have heard its a lot easier to record & manipulate live instruments & vocals.
I dont do live myself but i do all my sounds from scratch 95% of the time. So im glad the cpu is better managed so i can use all my vsts & do sound design way easier, & the in tune piano roll option has made experimenting way easier.
