A New Take on a Classic Game.

In a different alternate reality every music label has discontinued now its up to users to save the music industry.

Keep in reminder that every artist drafted is based on right now. So Kanye is post JIK Kanye, Drake is post Scorpion Drake, Tyler post Igor. We will ignore real future releases so it doesn’t affect the game.

Over the next 6 months each label will draft and roadmap their individual labels. By having their artists releasing albums, singles, and sending them on tour.

The objective is whoever’s label is successful in all three of the categories:

Commercial Success
Critical Success
Touring/Maintaining a Fanbase

The judges in this version of MOYL will represent Critic sites and will judge your albums based on how your album looks and then they will be tallied. There will be a MOYL Hot 100. By doing all these there will be boosters you can buy which ill revel later. You will not spend money on artists.

Each label has a MAX of 7 Artists and 3 Producers that will be drafted. Your money, which each label will be given a budget of 250M, will go to single boosters, payola, tours, buying features, etc. How you use your budget and if you decide to use most on your star artist or share it within the label will be the task of the labels. Bankruptcy exists and if you get bankrupt you lose.

Album sales will be a big part of a successful label. If you choose to buy boosters and payola for your artists upcoming album you will have a higher % of landing a huge first week sales within the random generator. For ex: if your artist had a 10x booster the random generator will have 10x the amount of 700k-1m (made up figure) to choose from rather than only 1 700k-1m figure. But as important as album sales are it doesnt have to be your main focus. You can Wow judges by creating well thought out tracklists. Maintaining a high KTTcritic score for your artists and labels is another key success to winning the game.

Free Agents. If a artist/producer isnt drafted they are free agents and cant be picked up unless you drop one of yours. If a Artist is a free agent youre allowed One Feature from that artist per month for one album and 4 Production placements for free agent Producers per month for 2 albums.

Ill go into more detail on what else there is but please read it everything before signing up. There can be an unlimited amount of labels and judges theres no maximums. But all i ask is to be consistent!
