    Sales numbers once the launch hype dies down will be interesting.

    $450 feels like an alright price, but the games being $70-90 (Assuming most exclusives will be $90) might kill it for more casual people. That’s a really hard sell knowing their games almost never drop in price.

    Piracy is probably a year or two away at best, some heavy hitting games early in the lifecycle would definitely push sales. But after piracy becomes more viable I don’t see anyone but die hard Nintendo fans wanting to pay those prices.

    If MKW and the Switch 2 Versions of games were all $70, 99% of people would not be mad. But the fact they’re $80 is scummy

    never understood this sentiment. If anything physical is less permanent, discs and cartridges could get stolen, damaged, lost, destroyed in a fire, earthquake, flood, etc.

    Digital files i can redownload 20 years from now if I wanted

    I’ve owned some games for 20+ years and they still play fine. Take care of your things and they will last
