Holy s*** this was amazing. Shia has performance of the year. My eyes were moist through 50% of this fr everyone was great Lucas Hedges and the younger kid I can’t even believe how much I liked this
Can't wait to see this. But does anyone know the song from the trailer? "Sometimes I know I'll make it with you by my side"

It definitely is. Thank you
I’m glad this is getting a full theatrical release from amazon but my theatre isn’t playing it so I lowkey wish they didn’t at the same time
Full theatrical release is this weekend since I'll be able to peep this on Friday or Saturday.
And I live in a small city. :word:

MY PRAYERS HAS BEEN ANSWERED
something about this movie felt so underdeveloped, enjoyed it quite a bit but I feel like if you've seen the trailer, you've basically seen the movie.
Noah Jupe has a bright future ahead of him, you can bet on that.
Shia had the most standout performance between him, Noah, and Lucas but I felt a strong connection with Jupe as Young Otis.
I might have to chill on watching movie trailers because a few of the film's most powerful scenes were somewhat spoiled for me.
Shia better get a nom for Best Supporting Actor at next year's Oscars.

85% agree with this statement also.
I apologize for triple posting but that 3-way phone call argument between Otis' parents and him having to play messenger.
That hit me right in the feels.

I wanted more Lucas hedges scenes as problematic Shia, but I don't think that would have added much to the story I just think it woudl've been fun to see more of haha. A shame that montage in the trailer is like exactly the same length at the beginning of the movie
I loved the trailer so much and watched it repeatedly but felt so emotionally distanced while watching the movie. Maybe I just burnt out all of the emotional parts of the movie since I had watched the trailer so much. I felt like I had to work so hard and continually be thinking of parallels in my own life in order to feel any emotion because what was on screen didn't do it for me.
