looked but couldn't find a thread. The first season wasn't that good but I was thoroughly entertained by the sci-fi/mystery premise so I'm def gonna tune in to this season

I finished my 4th rewatch of season 1 last night. About to start season 2

S1 was the definition of mediocre but im looking forward to S2 gonna watch tonight

I binged the whole thing on day one and I can say it was pretty good. It's a solid follow-up.

I think Kinnaman was a better Kovacs. I like Mackie but I always found him goofy. The show went down to pg-13 it seems. No nudity and no gore. You won't see a scene like when Kinnaman was being tortured in VR in season 1. By that I mean a body who just got its legs shopped off with some lazer saw won't be shown, etc. My last complaint would be that the camera work just isn't as good. Season 1 had legit wallpaper type of shots, this one doesn't.

I do appreciate how much exposition they gave the planet though. It felt quite alive and real and you understood everything. The plot was pretty concise with only 8 episodes. Mackie was good, just not Kovacs. There were fun ideas in there like in episodes 3 and 7 (Im not gonna spoil yall). Fleshed out the characters quite well just like they did in season 1. The design department killed it too.

I'd say it's around a 7/10. You'll have a good time but it's far from perfect.

Looks good to me. I also dont really understand the hate for the first season. Its at least top 10% of shows on Netflix

I really enjoyed season 1 and after one episode of this new season quit, it was garbage

I watched the first ep of s2 and it did nothing for me. Absolutely nothing. Actually killed my hype for s2 if anything lmfao. Like damn bruh Ion have the urge to binge this s*** after how unimpressed I was with that episode lol

Hella disappointing

It was a weak season compared to the masterpiece of season 1 (but we knew that was going to happen)
Anthony Mackie was great so the racist fans cant blame him at all. The story was just weak and had one too many stupid plotholes. But still, it was enjoyable. I give up on shows quickly but never felt like stopping. I’ll definitely watch season 3 if there’s one.

Not as good as season 1 but it was still decent. Will continue to watch if there's a season 3 because it has a lot of potential

I binged watched Season 1 & 2 over a week. Enjoyed S2 more. Good to see such diversity on the screen.
