Right like I’m not trippin? That post s*** is real but you can’t just shrug that off and forgive her
how are you gonna post that while you have your kid in your pfp
but that woman who did that is going thru something herself but the one who left the comment is tweaking. it's not like there's mass infanticide as a result of post-partum
i mean what the person is referencing is postpartum depression or postpartum psychosis (two different disorders)
and in those two cases, a lot of mothers go undiagnosed and dont even really know somethings wrong until something bad happens to them or the baby
but idk if that specific article really goes into the cause for what happened in that instance--it may not be attributable to any sort of postpartum psychiatric disorder

That’s what I’m saying you can’t just put that blanket over it and say it’s over with

But even if she had it, she did that s***. Thus my thread title
I think the way that it is phrased is where the issue lies.
Because if should not be an issue to pray for her, it seems like she needs it.
I think the issue would be the way the comment in a way normalizes the behavior
There’s no proof she has a mental disorder. She could’ve just been trying to kill her children.

This is about the middle ground that I felt was on the side of right
Even if that’s a complete oxymoron
What
This happened in Brooklyn and when she threw the kids out she jumped down as well and tried to hurt them more. Someone jumped over the fence and saved the kids.
The women apparently then said thank you to the person stepping up and stopping her from further harming them. It’s like she knew she was wrong but something was wrong in her brain that she had no control over.

There’s a Steve Wilkos episode exactly like this and I’m not trying to be funny I’m glad you were able to provide info I didn’t read the article

I saw the news
This is what I remember, might not be that accurate but I think that’s what happened.

im not that familiar with postpartum depression, but in the case of postpartum psychosis she might not have really understood what she was doing--hence why it's considered psychosis as she would not be in touch with reality if it were a severe case
youtube.com/watch?v=Xa3HFPMI-_0&ab_channel=WellcomeTrustWellcomeTrust
women who get this disorder and undergo treatment for it can form strong bonds with their child, but the issue is detection before anything bad may happen
anyway psa if your girls about to give birth make sure to watch out for any and all signs of postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis

Some just get extremely cold though, not that familiar either

not sure what you mean by cold
but i think in some cases of postpartum psychosis its like the persons warped version of reality has the baby as some sort of enemy that they must get rid of or get away from
like obviously thats cold and if they were in a proper state of mind theyd absolutely not think that
