I think him being more animated this era is honestly a little cringe. I don't think it really works well. Plus the hair and moustache are ugly IMO. Especially the moustache that s*** is f***ing ugly.

But f*** the clothes this guy does not excel at dancing, telling jokes, etc. and this departure from the inconspicuous image he once had feels off. nah bro I feel you. I know a lot of people f*** with it but it's just cringe to me. Not every artist needs to be super accessible posting on Twitter about stupid s*** - it works for some (Post Malone, Lil Nas X, etc.) but Abel always tried to keep some mystery to himself like all the greats used to back in the day.

As far as the image, idk. None of it is original. I don't find replicating old movie costumes to be that cool of a look, but whatever. The hair and mustache definitely ain't it though.
