It was okay. Lots of good ideas but the execution was lacking.

• Pop Smoke song was just a lazy flip.
• He needed a verse on Keem x Trav song.
• No Child Left Behind should've been extended.
• The intro needs actual rap verses.
• Hurricane needs to be rewritten and re-recorded asap
• Sequencing was all over the place

Production is there but I wish he focused more on the lyrics/rapping for the whole album. He used to have quotable for days but now it's more mumbles of filler bars and it's been like that for a minute

Yeah I liked what I heard, it just needs alot of work and songs where he has more of a presence, I swear there was 3 in a row where he was hardly on them but I could be wrong.

I loved every song. Probably his best imo, when it's better mixed.

His music is missing that final polish that all his earlier albums had, back when he had something to prove

Kendrick is the number one lyricist in the mainstream’s eyes, Drake is the number one star, and Kanye is STILL the number one "artist" with no real challenger in sight

I honestly think Ye’s gonna keep going at 70% of his potential until someone comes along and truly challenges his status as Hip-Hop’s number one "artist" and "celebrity"

I only listened the first few songs during live stream bc I couldn't stop checking the thread and read people hating and that was ruining it for me. buf I liked how experimental and different it sounded. Exactly what I want from a Ye album at this stage
