    babys development

    so

babies typically develop consciousness and begin to have the capacity for memory around 6 months gestation

so that's probably the cut off period in which an abortion is theoretically killing an entirely sentient human

Trump was a symbol of everything wrong with this country
The only saving grace was his aversion to military action(compared to establishment presidents)
Bannon was a right wing journal not much else to say about him

Bannon busts a nut over fascist themed p***ography atleast stick the knife in a bit because it isn't like he's going to remembered on the right side of history ironically

calling historical materialism philosophy would be like calling keynesianism philosophy. like yes i guess semantically you can call it philosophy since it's a mode of thinking/study but it's really an extrapolation of economics in history. Marx himself even basically warned not to use it as some kind of universalist philosophy.

My understanding of historical materialism is an attempt to categorize history from a Marxist perspective
Which is cool and respectable way to view history but unless your a marxist it serves no purpose
You can say this led to that without having to refer to Marx or Engels

    why do you think that?

    wouldnt that just bolster expenses?

No having to repair equipment that doesn't work would be a bigger problem

well i think what people themselves have taken from it can standalone from what the concept itself is basically. I don't consider myself a communist or anything but I still think there are ideas worthwhile from it in general. While I do get what you're saying overall, I'm just saying I wouldn't call it philosophy per-se anymore than I would any other form of economic theory. Like if you want to look at the Great Depression or something, you might have a different idea of why it happened depending on what theory of macroeconomics you lean towards. There is a level of philosophy in that maybe but I wouldn't say it is in the same way that like, ethics philosophy is or something.

right, so if you have robots fixing the robots, then who fixes those robots?

there's also probably going to be a margin of error in productivity, especially when fully reliant on machinery, even if AI-generated

    actually, especially if AI-generated

because if AI is meant to be adaptable to human conditions why wouldnt it be susceptible to human error?

I envision the maintenance being done in the majority by humans
What do you mean by adaptable to human conditions?

sophisticated AIs work via a complex algorithm of human-created and curated information.

AIs by their own nature are adaptable

    thats what i mean

    Democratic socialist>market socialist>Unaligned
    I believe in democracy
I also believe capitalism provides the best opportunity for upwards mobility
If society fell apart tomorrow and I had to choose what system I’d choose a highly regulated capitalist system over anything

so you were a liberal and you’re still a liberal got it
