Isnt recovery the album that made people say he fell off in the first place

Nah, that was Relapse

in retrospect didn't 808s get awful acclaim from ppl and critics in general and seen as one of kanye's lowest points in his career

I loved it but a lot of people had it as his first miss.

How wrong they were

Mdbtf was his redemption from the vmas though
