But they dont have to, that’s the point. Is paying the warehouse workers going to increase bottom line? No. Are they at a shortage of warehouse workers? No. Because they have people lined up to be warehouse workers, they can pay whatever they want. If Amazon really wanted to, they could give warehouse workers minimum wage and they’d still have a supply of people wanting to work for them
