For a second I kind of thought the beast was Omni man in disguise. He even repeated the exact same line about the battle being beneath him before he dipped

And it sounded like they were both voiced by JK

That's besides the point. Even tho Mark initially perceived Titan as a criminal, once he realized he had a sick daughter to care for, Mark experienced character growth. He stopped perceiving titan as a one dimensional bad-guy, and instead saw him as another human, caught in a struggle. Mark is embodying what it means to be a hero.

In contrast, his father is nothing but a facade of a hero. And the show keeps furthering this idea.

Imma even go out on a limb and predict Mark and his father will eventually clash and become enemies.

I’m mostly referring to the fact that ultimately, Titan was lying and manipulating mark, as Omni said he was in that dinner table scene. It doesn’t take away the nuance of the situation. It’s hard at this point to call Titan totally a criminal but he’s certainly not a hero and as f***ed up as it was for Omni to suggest that helping this man and the inner city was some how beneath him, he was right in his assumption that mark was being used.

That's true. But I don't think that fact will change Mark's moral compass. Omni-man's plan will probably backfire on him.
