EverestMan I hate where they take Mark’s mother after the events of S1 in the comics. Really hope they change it and give her more to do like they seem to be doing
i honestly wonder if they’re going to include it or not tbh. In the comics, she’s a stay at home mom and the starts drinking. I think she stops when she gets a job then is back to normal by the time she gets to take care of Oliver. In the show, she’s already working and all that so if she does start drinking heavily what will help her recover?

The TV show Debbie is much different and it’d be an insult to her and to Sandra Oh IMO. In the comics she did none of the costume-finding-investigation stuff, she wasn’t watching with Cecil. Her crying on the bed at the end of episode 8 was great and believable. I wanna see her more proactive in her sadness and anger and not just be a crying wife
