You’d think with Nolan betraying the Viltrumites, they’d punish him by conquering Earth by themselves asap, but they ain’t doing s***, and by doing nothing they’re letting Mark properly prepare for the showdown against them
Reminds me of Bane’s master plan in The Dark Knight Rises
Double entendre with Nolan
That astronaut can't catch a break
Youd think that theyd scan him / keep him in quarantine for a bit
Of all thr cliff hangers they bring back that stupid brain leach thing after a full episode dealing with it
Best girl is finally here.
Next episode will be pure cinema
thought they were gonna end the season with the anissa cliffhanger, wonder where theyre gonna end after the angstrom fight
It's a play on the scene in the comics
I believe only Reddit marvel Rick an Morty meta cucks will think this is funny
I can’t remember the comics but is it just me or they kinda going fast with these coming plot lines ?
Nah it's the same pace.
Is this the greatest (Western) cartoon of all time?
I think it's up there. BTAS still has it beat tbh

That’s valid. Nostalgia plus quality.
I actually view Harley Quinn as the spiritual successor to that goat level series

Not really even nostalgia. BTAS in terms of influence and quality conquers just about any other Western action/drama cartoon.
Nah I can't believe I cried tears this episode.
The way Amber froze up before Anissa even put a hand on her. Good animated depiction of shock, made everything super uneasy

How you do spoilers on mobile again?

The (non-action) animation holds it back.

I've never read the comics, but out of curiosity I checked out the issues corresponding to this episode. And I found it curious that they changed certain things - in the comics Mark is with his mother when Anissa appears, and not with Amber. And from what I've seen, the Anissa in the comics seems much more balanced. They've changed her lines completely. Like, when she's talking to Allen, she never threatens to have him dissected or whatever. Interesting.
