I still struggle to give a f*** about the Debbie side-plots. Seems like very unnecessary screentime
Debbie is always gonna be the representation of the mundane, normal and morals of Mark’s character so it dont bother me
Its what separates Mark from even his own little brother atm. Without Debbie, Mark would be just like Omni-Man, and her storylines are constant reminders that even when the world is at stake and you gotta be the hero, Mark still strives for that normal life like his mom

Not really sure what that has to do with Debbie going on dates

I definitely went on a tangent ngl but i guess my point is the show tries to show us the normality of a human (through Debbie and others) to juxtapose the superhero s*** that makes Mark conflicted in the first place
He follows the classic trope of wanting a normal teenager life of doing things like dates (couldnt do it with Eve in the same episode Debbie was going on them) because he is burdened by superhero responsibilities

Tbh I really enjoy the slower character moments in the show. They add depth and make the action feel more meaningful when it does happen.
On the one hand I want Mark to be less sorry and actually box fr and handle s*** But then I got to remind myself that his opps are thousands times his age with combat experience
Am I supposed to be siding with mark over Cecil lmao
Nah, Cecil did kinda escalate things too quickly, but Mark was acting very immaturely (which makes sense considering he's still a teenager)
These clips from the Amazon prime YT channel are fire. Can't wait to sit down and watch full episodes

Its for her growth outside of omni man. She has to move on

Nah mark wants to wield his power as a threat over peoples heads but then act like the victim when they point the gun back at him. How many times does Cecil have to say calm down, let’s talk about this and get completely ignored before he has to deal with the possibility of mark ripping his head off
Meanwhile thanos junior is out here getting gentle parented after baby’s first homicide but god forbid a black man doesn’t rot in prison for eternity

That's what I'm saying - Mark has a pretty limited way of seeing things, so Cecil could've handled the situation better. Given how Mark reacted, a more careful approach might have prevented the fight.
whenever mark isn't crying and being irrational he's just getting beat the f*** up
give me a cecil series
Mark is so annoying this season but I understand, it’s critical in his character progression that he is this way . Everything is so black and white to him rn
Everyone on the internet complaining about Mark crying is weird. Bro's dad is a terrorist, beat his ass, left and f***ed an ant, and he has to take of his half-brother lol.
What other emotion does he have before he decides to be like his dad?
Immortal be talking a lot of s*** when Mark isn't around
mans doesn’t want the smoke with mark lmao

I'll do you better - here's a live action one
Ngl I think Steven Yeun does a phenomenal job but he does get a bit redundant with his “whiney” voice. Like the cadence and inflections are all anticipated at this point.
More so I think the audience is just ready for him to embrace himself a bit more. He’s definitely a neutered version of what he should be, but clearly that’s gearing up to change.
why the first half of this episode just felt like filler?
i dont see why we should care about that future immortal s***?
2nd half was better though, but that allen recap was so unnecessary too
