Lets just say s*** blows open next season, if it goes by the books

also for those who don’t know, the actor who plays Alex had multiple sexual assault allegations thrown at him back in June, when the season already finished filming.

So I expect a lot of his scenes, in particular the personalized ones that don’t involve crucial plot details or moving the story forward, will be cut from the show. And I imagine he’ll probably be written and/or killed off before the end of the season

Hopefully it won’t make things feel too disjointed

It's getting a season 6 to wrap things up but Cas Anvar (Alex) won't be back.

Wait what?? Why did it get cancelled??

So it gets season 5 and 6 to wrap up the whole damn show??? That's impossible

Not sure, probably couldn't justify the cost versus how many people watched.

No spoilers but I've heard the end of the sixth book wouldn't be a bad place to end things if they had to so I guess it'll somewhat work out narrative wise.

The chances of another pickup is slim but anything is possible at this point.

I’m fine with it ending it on season 6/book 6.

wont spoil anything for anyone who might wanna read the books in the future but there’s a pretty jarring shift between books 6 & 7 that makes book 6 a logical ending point for the series anyways.

I feel like books 7-9 would honestly probably work better as a sequel series.

I wonder if they change the ending since there won’t be a season 7-9

kind of hard to explain, but the ending of book 6 serves as sort of a closing chapter for a lot of the major storylines from the initial first 6 books, & then book 7 kinda kicks off a new story but with the same characters
