I've read the first 7 books (got bored) the first episode was decent this could be good

apparently the books are a slog from book 7 all the way to 10 which I heard is the worst. I'm not that patient

Watching the first episode now. The special effects look good, and cheap at the same time lol. Like they’re certain effects that are decent, but primarily this wind/white light effect looks so cheaply done. It feels like I’m watching The Adventures of Hercules or Xena Warrior Princess in some scenes

First episode was eh… second episode was better, by the 3rd it was decent. It did enough to make me interested seeing how the season progresses. Not blown away by it, but it’s just average.
